Admission tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, non-refundable and void if altered. They are not valid for special events that require a separate admission charge.
No child or children under the age of 12 will be admitted to the Theme Park unless they are accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over and such child or children whilst on site must remain under the control or supervision of an adult at all times.
No weapon, firearm, explosive, noxious gas or liquid or any other substance or article which can or may be used to cause harm to another or damage to property can be brought onto the Resort. No alcohol or intoxicant or any drugs falling under the misuse of drugs act 1971 may be brought onto the Resort. If the resort reasonably believe you are in possession of any item as detailed above (in 15 and 16), we (Alton Towers Resort Security personnel or Police Officer) reserve the right to search you.

Alton towers take their responsibilities very seriously towards the environment and the communities in
which they operate in. Merlin in the community is the corporate social responsibility program which they work on both a local and group level to make a
difference in people’s lives. The attraction of merlin’s magic wand charity, animal conservation and welfare work with its local community strengthening ties with them. They have also made great strides in identifying ways to cut their carbon footprint to improve their water consumption and recycling efforts, also to agree ethical terms and conditions with all of their supplies.
The tourism industry is nationally very important to the UK economy, creating 2.1 million jobs (7% of all UK employment) and raising around £74 billion in tourist spending. The Alton Towers Resort’s contribution to Staffordshire has grown consistently over the years, and is critical to the continued success of the area.
